Nha Trang College of Tourism launches the project "Lifelong Learning"

On October 10, Nha Trang College of Tourism held a launching ceremony for the “Lifelong Learning” project. The project was initiated by Diageo Group - a multinational corporation in the beverage industry, in cooperation with Kenan Foundation Asia (Thailand) and has been approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The project provides training for 15 lecturers of Nha Trang Tourism College, focusing on the following topics: 21st century soft skills; job readiness skills; green skills; digital and AI skills; bartending skills in bars and restaurants. Thereby, helping lecturers update their knowledge, innovate teaching methods, and contribute to building a core team of lecturers capable of replicating and maintaining training quality in the future.

After the training course, the lecturers will work with experts from Kenan Foundation Asia to complete the lectures through professional activities. On that basis, they will teach 200 students of the school, helping lecturers and students access advanced teaching and learning methods, in line with world trends.

The project also supports connecting students with potential employers in the tourism, restaurant and hotel sectors, expanding internship and employment opportunities for students, contributing to the sustainable development of the tourism industry in Khanh Hoa and the whole country.

This is the third year the project has been implemented. Previously, the project was implemented in Hanoi and Da Nang, providing intensive training for 838 students and 25 lecturers, connecting 800 students with 19 businesses.
