At the same time, actively innovate and effectively implement enrollment work in each school year. 2023 is the first year of implementing the Project "Building and developing Hong Duc University to 2030, with a vision to 2045". To realize the content of the project, one of the important tasks being directed and implemented by the school is to develop and implement the 2023 enrollment plan with many new points.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dau Ba Thin, Vice Principal of Hong Duc University, said: In 2023, Hong Duc University plans to enroll 2,600 students for 29 training majors. Of which, there are 13 teacher training majors; 5 majors in the Business - Management and Law group; 5 majors in the Engineering - Technology and Agriculture group and 6 majors in the Social Sciences - Humanities and Behavior group. Along with the above majors, this year the school plans to autonomously open 3 new majors including: Economic Law, Multimedia Communications, Hotel Management and 1 major waiting for the Ministry of Education and Training to assign the task of History - Geography Pedagogy.

This year, the school will conduct admissions using 6 methods, including: Using the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam; using the results of the 2021 or 2022 high school graduation exam; using high school academic results; direct admission according to the Admissions Regulations of Hong Duc University; considering students with an IELTS certificate of 5.0 or TOEFL iBT of 60 points or higher (within 24 months from the date of issuance of the certificate to the date of registration) and using the results of the competency assessment test or thinking assessment organized by universities or colleges in 2023. In particular, the new point this year is that Hong Duc University reserves 50% of the enrollment quota for admission using the method of using high school academic results for all training majors. In previous years, this admission method only used 20 - 30% of the enrollment quota. Another new point in this year's admission is that Hong Duc University will expand direct admission to all training majors for students of specialized schools, who have won provincial-level excellent student awards from 3rd prize and above. Also from 2023, the school will calculate priority and regional points according to new regulations of the Ministryof Education and Training.

In addition, to encourage students with high results in the 2023 high school graduation exam and students from other provinces, the school implements a number of policies such as: 100% exemption of tuition fees for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year for candidates with high school graduation exam results in 2023 or candidates using the converted 2023 capacity assessment/thinking assessment results achieving 25.5/30 points or higher (excluding priority points and regions). 50% reduction of tuition fees for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year for candidates with high school graduation exam results in 2023 or candidates using the converted 2023 capacity assessment/thinking assessment results achieving from 22.5/30 to less than 25.5/30 points (excluding priority points and regions). 100% free dormitory fee for students whose registered residence is outside Thanh Hoa province.

According to Vice Principal of Hong Duc University Dau Ba Thin, in order to achieve high results in the 2023 enrollment period, the school has been promoting propaganda in many forms about the school's enrollment plans and strategies. Organizing enrollment counseling sessions; establishing zalo and facebook groups to directly advise students and their parents. At the same time, implementing the motto that each student of the school is a counselor to help students choose the right major and school. Along with that, the school constantly improves the quality of training, invests in upgrading facilities; innovates content, programs, teaching methods, enhances extracurricular activities, and club activities to help students practice their profession to meet the needs of society and increase the adaptability of students after graduation. In the coming period, the school will prepare conditions to enroll students in "bilingual" training programs to help graduates be able to teach in a foreign language.

With the new points and the proactive and active preparation of conditions from the school, it is believed that the 2023 enrollment period of Hong Duc University will achieve high results. It is known that in 2022, Hong Duc University will enroll students in all forms and training levels at over 80%. Of which, regular university enrollment will reach over 90% with the number of enrollments of 1,884 in all training majors.
