Hanoi Law University announces enrollment direction, opens 2 new programs

Hanoi Law University (HLU) has just announced its enrollment orientation, major opening, tuition policy, and student support for 2025.

Accordingly, in 2025, Hanoi Law University plans to enroll about 2,650 full-time university students (an increase of about 150 students compared to last year). Of which, the enrollment at the main campus is expected to be about 2,350, and the enrollment for the law major at Dak Lak Branch is expected to be 300.

Regarding the admission method, at the main office, the school plans to consider admission according to three methods, remaining stable compared to last year. In which, method 1 is direct admission and priority admission for candidates according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

Method 2 – selection for candidates participating in the monthly/quarterly/annual rounds of the Road to Olympia contest organized by Vietnam Television.

Method 3 – Admission based on high school academic results in 2025 (academic results for grades 10, 11, and 12) according to specific combinations for each major (based on academic records), including consideration of international language certificates.

Method 4 – Admission based on the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam according to specific combinations for each industry. Including consideration of converting international language certificates.

Hanoi Law University said that in 2025, the school will develop and issue a high-quality training program in law and a high-quality training program in economic law for the 2025-2026 school year.

The school plans to recruit 240-300 students for the high-quality law major and about 80-100 students for the high-quality economic law major.

Last year, the school enrolled students in four training majors: Law, economic law, English language, and international commercial law.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the school plans to collect tuition fees for courses enrolling from the 2022-2023 school year onwards of VND 2,925,600/student/month for the mass training program (equivalent to about more than VND 29 million/year); tuition fees for the high-quality system are expected to be VND 5,851,200/student/month (equivalent to about more than VND 58 million/year).

Last year, Hanoi Law University announced the benchmark score for the 2024 high school graduation exam, ranging from 22.85 to 28.85, the highest being for law majors in group C (literature, history, geography), equivalent to more than 9.6 points/subject.
