On the afternoon of June 7, Director of the Center for Communication and Admissions of Hanoi Open University Do Ngoc Anh said: The C00 combination will be added to enroll students in 3 majors: Law, Economic Law and International Law along with the announced combinations: D01 (Math, Literature, English), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), C03 (Math, Literature, History), C14 (Math, Literature, Economic and Legal Education).

"Adding the C00 combination in addition to the existing admission combinations with two basic subjects, Math and Literature, will create opportunities for many candidates to be admitted to the school," said a representative of Hanoi Open University.

Along with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi Open University is the next training institution to announce the addition of group C00 (Literature, History, Geography) in the 2025 university entrance exam today.

Previously, on June 6, the Ministry of Education and Training sent an official dispatch to colleges, academies, and universities, etc. regarding the review and publication of enrollment information for university and college levels in preschool education.

The Ministry of Education and Training's reminder was issued when a number of schools announced their enrollment plans, including eliminating the C00 combination in the admissions process for many majors. The Ministry of Education and Training believes that this is an incomplete announcement of enrollment information, affecting the rights of candidates, especially at the present time when candidates have completed registration for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires training institutions to properly implement the Admission Regulations and Guidelines; Review admission methods and combinations in accordance with the programs, majors, and groups of training majors for each method, ensuring fairness; and not affecting the rights of candidates.

In 2025, Hanoi Open University plans to enroll 4,140 students in 21 training majors with a variety of admission methods including: direct admission; considering academic records (for Biotechnology and Food Technology majors); considering academic records or high school graduation exam scores combined with aptitude test scores (for Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design and Architecture majors); considering the results of the Hanoi National University's competency assessment test, the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment test; considering high school graduation exam scores in 2025.

Hanoi Open University said it will not use the results of the foreign language exam exemption in the high school graduation exam for admission; candidates with international language certificates valid until August 14, 2025 will have their scores converted according to the school's regulations.
