The Ministry of Education and Training assigned Quang Nam University to determine enrollment targets, recruit students, organize and manage training, grant degrees, assess quality and accredit training programs according to current regulations.
News from Quang Nam University, in 2025 the school will recruit 35 students for the Natural Science Pedagogy major. Candidates register for this major according to the following combinations: Math - Physics - Chemistry, Math - Chemistry - Biology, Math - Physics - English, Math - Chemistry - English.
Students admitted to the Natural Science Pedagogy program will enjoy support under Decree 116 of the Government , including tuition exemption and living expenses support of 3.6 million VND/student/month.
The opening of the above major codes meets the need to train a team of teachers to teach integrated Natural Sciences according to the new general education program 2018. At the same time, it contributes to diversifying the training fields at Quang Nam University, increasing the total number of majors the school is allowed to train to 16 majors (8 pedagogical majors and 8 non-pedagogical majors).
It is known that in 2025, Quang Nam University will enroll 1,170 students in regular university majors (Mathematics Education: 40 students; Physics Education: 10 students; Biology Education: 10 students; Literature Education: 40 students; English Education: 25 students; Preschool Education: 100 students; Primary Education: 140 students; Natural Science Education: 35 students; Information Technology: 200 students; English Language: 200 students; Business Administration: 100 students; Vietnamese Studies (culture - tourism): 100 students; History: 120 students; Plant Protection: 50 students).
Students of pedagogical majors are exempted from tuition fees. The pedagogical majors are admitted based on the following methods: 2025 high school graduation exam scores; 2025 grade 12 transcript scores; direct admission according to the Ministry of Education and Training's admission regulations; and Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test scores.
The Preschool Education sector will recruit students based on the following methods: considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores combined with the aptitude test scores; considering the 12th grade transcript scores graduating in 2025 combined with the aptitude test scores; direct admission according to the Ministry of Education and Training's Admission Regulations; considering the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test scores combined with the aptitude test scores.
Non-pedagogical majors are admitted based on the following methods: 2025 high school graduation exam scores; 2025 grade 12 transcript scores; 2025 grade 12 transcript scores; direct admission based on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission regulations; and Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment scores.
