In 2025, Hanoi Medical University will enroll 1,910 full-time university students for 19 majors. Hanoi Medical University announced 5 admission groups, including:
A00: Math - Chemistry - Physics;
B00: Math - Chemistry - Biology;
B08: Math - Biology - English;
C00: Literature - History - Geography;
D01: Math - Literature - English.
2025 is the first year the School will introduce the A00 group (Math, Physics, Chemistry) into enrollment.
The new combination is used to consider the following majors: Ophthalmology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, Advanced Nursing Program, Midwifery, Dental Prosthetic Technology, Nutrition, Social Work, and the expected major is Medical Imaging Technology.
The majors: Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Dentistry, Preventive Medicine, still only recruit with the B00 combination (Math - Chemistry - Biology).

Hanoi Medical University uses two admission methods: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school; Admission based on high school graduation exam results.
Compared to last year, the school stopped considering the Hanoi National University's Competency Assessment exam scores and combined the exam scores with international language certificates.
