(Dan Tri) - Hanoi University of Civil Engineering has just announced the conversion table equivalent to high school graduation exam scores and academic transcript scores in 2025.

Accordingly, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering determined a large difference between the admission score based on academic records and the admission score based on high school graduation exam results.

Specifically, 17 graduation points are equivalent to 22.5 transcript points, the difference is 5.5 points. The higher the score, the narrower the gap between graduation points and transcript points.

For example, 19 graduation points are equivalent to 22.81 transcript points, 20 graduation points are equivalent to 23.12 transcript points, 26 graduation points are equivalent to 26.25 transcript points, 27 graduation points are equivalent to 27.75 transcript points.

This year, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering has 4 admission methods. In addition to direct admission and priority admission, the school considers high school transcripts, high school graduation exam scores and exam results organized by other universities.

The number of exams is expanded compared to 2024, including: thinking assessment in 2024 and 2025 of the University of Science and Technology, capacity assessment in 2025 of Hanoi National University of Education and V-SAT exam in 2025.

Last year, the school only considered the results of the thinking assessment exam.

Candidates with an English or French certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher can use it to replace the English subject score in the admission combination. However, the school has not announced the method of score conversion.

Notably, candidates using their transcripts and assessment exam results will not be able to apply to majors that require fine arts such as architecture, planning, etc. These special majors only consider high school graduation exam scores and direct admission, combined with fine arts exam scores.
