This year, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering has 4 admission methods. In addition to direct admission and priority admission, the school considers high school transcripts, high school graduation exam scores and exam results organized by other universities.

Candidates with an English or French certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher can use it to replace the English subject score in the admission combination. However, the school has not announced the method of score conversion.
Notably, candidates using their transcripts and assessment exam results will not be able to apply to majors that require fine arts such as architecture, planning, etc. These special majors only consider high school graduation exam scores and direct admission, combined with fine arts exam scores.
