According to information from the Military Admissions Board, Ministry of National Defense , the two military schools that will recruit block C00 in the 2025 university entrance exam are the Border Guard Academy and the Political Officer School.
Specifically, the Border Guard Academy recruits group C00 for both training majors: Border Guard and Law. However, if in 2024 the school only recruited groups C00 and A01 (math - physics - English), this year the school added 3 new admission groups including: literature - math - physics, literature - math - history and literature - math - English.
Meanwhile, the quota for the Law industry decreased from 30 to 20, and the quota for the Border Defense industry decreased from 405 to 230.
Similarly, the Political Officer School also added 2 new admission combinations compared to 2024. Candidates for group C00 will have to compete with candidates applying for admission using the combinations of math - physics - chemistry, math - literature - English, literature - math - history and literature - math - geography.
The school's quota is 421 candidates from the North and 345 candidates from the South. The total quota is 766.
Neither of the above schools admits female candidates.

Colonel Do Thanh Tam - Secretary of the Military Admissions Board - said that the admission groups are considered equally, without dividing the admission quota for each group according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
Next year, it is expected that military schools will research and propose new admission combinations suitable for the training program.
In 2025, 20 military schools will use 13 admission combinations including: math - physics - chemistry (A00), math - physics - English (A01), math - chemistry - biology (B00), literature - history - geography (C00), literature - math - physics (C01), literature - math - chemistry (C02), literature - math - history (C03), literature - math - geography (C04), literature - math - English (D01), literature - math - Russian (D02), literature - math - Chinese (D04), math - chemistry - English (D07) and math - physics - IT (A0T).
