Which military schools recruit students from the C00 subject group?

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - In 2025, only 2 military schools will accept applications based on the Literature - History - Geography subject combination (C00 group).

According to information from the Military Admissions Board, Ministry of National Defense , the two military schools that will be accepting applications from the C00 group in the 2025 university entrance exam are the Border Guard Academy and the Political Officer School.

Specifically, the Border Guard Academy considers the C00 subject combination for both its Border Guard and Law programs. However, while in 2024 the school only considered the C00 and A01 subject combinations (Mathematics - Physics - English), this year it has added three new subject combinations: Literature - Mathematics - Physics, Literature - Mathematics - History, and Literature - Mathematics - English.

Meanwhile, the quota for the Law ngành decreased from 30 to 20, and the quota for the Border Guard ngành decreased from 405 to 230.

Similarly, the Political Officer Training School has added two new admission combinations compared to 2024. Candidates in the C00 group will have to compete with candidates applying using the combinations of mathematics - physics - chemistry, mathematics - literature - English, literature - mathematics - history, and literature - mathematics - geography.

The school's quota is 421 students from the North and 345 students from the South. The total quota is 766.

Neither of the aforementioned schools accepts female applicants.

Colonel Do Thanh Tam, Secretary of the Military Admissions Board, stated that all admission combinations are considered equally, and admission quotas are not divided among each combination, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

In the coming year, military schools are expected to research and propose new admission combinations that are suitable for their training programs.

In 2025, 20 military schools will use 13 admission combinations including: Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry (A00), Mathematics - Physics - English (A01), Mathematics - Chemistry - Biology (B00), Literature - History - Geography (C00), Literature - Mathematics - Physics (C01), Literature - Mathematics - Chemistry (C02), Literature - Mathematics - History (C03), Literature - Mathematics - Geography (C04), Literature - Mathematics - English (D01), Literature - Mathematics - Russian (D02), Literature - Mathematics - Chinese (D04), Mathematics - Chemistry - English (D07) and Mathematics - Physics - Informatics (A0T).
