Truong Sa is bustling with preparations for Children's Day.

SKĐS - In the last days of May, the atmosphere in the Truong Sa Special Zone (Khanh Hoa) became more vibrant and joyful as officers, soldiers, authorities, and families busily prepared a Children's Day celebration on June 1st for the children living in this remote and challenging location of the Fatherland.

On the islands of the Truong Sa Special Zone, from early morning, many naval officers and soldiers took advantage of their free time outside of training to join youth union members, women's association members, and families in decorating the stage, hanging flags, flowers, balloons, erecting banners and slogans, and preparing the sound and lighting systems for Children's Day celebrations. The bustling atmosphere, filled with laughter, made the islands even warmer before the children's festival.

On Truong Sa Island, the central courtyard was chosen as the main venue for Children's Day activities. Many whimsical models, areas for traditional games, and a stage for cultural performances have been completed. Children eagerly participated in rehearsals of dances and songs about their homeland, the islands, and love for their country, under the guidance of officers and soldiers on the island.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Huy Phung, Political Officer of Truong Sa Island, said: "Although living and working conditions on the island are still difficult, the Party Committee and the island's command always pay attention to the material and spiritual well-being of the children of officers, soldiers, and people on the island. Activities for International Children's Day on June 1st are meticulously prepared to create a beneficial playground, helping the children have a warm and joyful celebration. This contributes to encouraging families to work with peace of mind and to contribute to building a stronger island."

A lively atmosphere prevails as preparations for Children's Day take place on Truong Sa Island (Truong Sa Special Zone).

On Sinh Ton Island, preparations for Children's Day are also being carried out urgently and meticulously. Officers, soldiers, and families are cleaning up the environment, decorating the hall, practicing performances, and preparing gifts for the children. Many group games, interactive activities, and quizzes with prizes have been designed to suit the age group.

Officers, soldiers, and their families in Truong Sa are meticulously preparing lanterns, gifts, and other items for the children to celebrate Children's Day.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Cuong, Political Officer of Sinh Ton Island, shared: "For the officers, soldiers, and people on the island, caring for children is not only a responsibility but also a special affection for the young generation in this island region. We hope that through activities on the occasion of June 1st, we will bring much joy to the children, helping them feel the concern of the Party Committee, the unit's commanders, and the affection of people nationwide towards Truong Sa."

According to Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Cuong, despite the challenging conditions on the island, the units always strive to prepare plenty of sweets, milk, books, school supplies, and organize appropriate recreational activities so that the children can have a truly meaningful Children's Day.

On Song Tu Tay and Da Tay islands, preparations for Children's Day are equally vibrant. Many officers and soldiers are actively completing the stage, playground, and special cultural performances. Familiar children's songs resound amidst the sea and sky of Truong Sa, creating a joyful and intimate atmosphere.

Children on Da Tay Island (Truong Sa Special Zone) are busily practicing special performances for Children's Day.

Youth organizations and women's associations on the island also organized activities such as cutting and pasting models, making handicrafts, and preparing small gifts for the children. In particular, many gifts, congratulatory letters, and school supplies sent from the mainland were received and carefully arranged to be handed directly to the children on June 1st.

There is a bustling atmosphere as preparations for Children's Day are underway on Song Tu Tay Island (Truong Sa Special Zone).

Besides recreational activities, the islands also focus on developing educational programs to help children understand more about the traditions of the Navy, their love for the sea and islands of their homeland, and their awareness of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland. Many exchange activities between children and naval officers and soldiers are meticulously prepared to create a bond and boost the morale of families living and working on the remote islands.

Despite facing numerous challenges regarding infrastructure, weather conditions, and geographical distance, preparations for International Children's Day in the Truong Sa Special Zone have been meticulously carried out, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party committees and commanders of the units for the spiritual well-being of the children of officers, soldiers, and people on the islands.
