In the 2024-2025 school year, Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School has a 100% rate of students moving up to the next grade and graduating; 6 students won prizes in the provincial-level secondary school excellent student selection competition; 1 student won a Bronze Medal at the TIMO International Mathematics Olympiad. The school ranked 21st out of 238 secondary schools in Son La province in terms of 10th grade entrance exam results.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the school has 555 students, including 157 grade 6 students, with 29 managers and teachers. Continue to focus on implementing synchronous and drastic solutions to improve the quality of education ; organize student assessment to ensure real learning and real exams; promote the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning" ; maintain and achieve 5/5 standards of level 3 education quality assessment and level 2 national standard school.
