The victim in the case is Y Khai Nie (27 years old, son of H Mim).
According to the indictment, Y Khai Nie lived with his parents but was lazy and often went out drinking with friends. To have money to drink, Y Khai Nie repeatedly pawned his motorbike and asked Ms. H Mim for money. When Ms. H Mim did not give him money, Y Khai Nie cursed and threatened to kill him.
On March 3, Y Khai Nie asked Mrs. H Mim for money to go drinking but was refused, so the young man cursed and threatened to hit his mother with a hoe. Afraid that his son would beat him, Mrs. H Mim had to give Y Khai Nie 500,000 VND. With the money, Y Khai Nie took his motorbike to go drinking with friends.
At around 2:00 a.m. on March 5, the subject returned home and continued to curse Mrs. H Mĭm. Y Khai Nie threatened to kill Y Khai Nie's brother if Mrs. H Mĭm did not give him 5 million VND. After cursing for a while, Y Khai Nie went into the room and slept on the mattress. Because Y Khai Nie repeatedly cursed her and threatened to kill her family members, Mrs. H Mĭm went into the bedroom, got a hammer, and repeatedly hit her rebellious son, causing the victim to die.

After committing the crime, Ms. H Mĭm took off the blood-stained jacket on Y Khai Nie and took the hammer into the bedroom to hide it. After confirming that Y Khai Nie was dead, Ms. H Mĭm called her children and some relatives to inform them that Y Khai Nie had died from a motorbike accident. However, on March 7, realizing that her actions were wrong, she turned herself in to the Ea Tul Commune Police.
