At the 10th Anniversary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dien Bien Province on the evening of May 9, 2024, the leaders of T&T Group donated 5 billion VND (equivalent to 100 houses) to the Great Unity House program of Dien Bien Province. At the same time, T&T Group presented symbolic keys to a number of households that had been supported with great unity houses.

At the end of 2023, this funding was transferred by T&T Group to the locality to ensure resources to implement the Great Unity House program, in time to complete the goal on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

Dien Bien is a mountainous province, the northwestern border of the country, with a strategic position in terms of national defense and security, with nearly 500km of border adjacent to Laos and China; the total population of the province is more than 640,000 people, with 19 ethnic groups living together (of which ethnic minorities account for over 80%). In recent years, the province's socio-economy has developed, people's lives have been improved. However, Dien Bien is still a province with a poverty rate of 25.68%. According to the review data, as of March 31, 2023, in the province there are more than 7,000 policy households, poor households, near-poor households living in temporary houses, dilapidated houses, damaged houses in need of support to renovate and repair.

Based on that reality, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with Dien Bien province and agencies to implement the Project to mobilize support for building solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province, towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

A representative of T&T Group expressed: “We are honored to participate in the project, accompanying Dien Bien province to make a small contribution to help local households live in solid, safe houses that meet their needs. We hope that this support will be a source of encouragement and a foundation to help families continue to improve their lives, determined to escape poverty sustainably.”

In addition to Dien Bien province, T&T Group also spent a large amount of money to support the construction of gratitude houses and solidarity houses for the poor and people with revolutionary contributions in many other localities such as Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Dak Lak, etc.

As a leading multi-industry private economic group in Vietnam, in addition to business development, T&T Group always promotes responsibility to the community and society and upholds the philosophy of "business development associated with social responsibility". Every year, T&T Group spends hundreds of billions of VND to support and help alleviate difficulties for the poor and people affected by natural disasters; provides large financial support to build schools, award scholarships to poor students; supports Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; restores and embellishes historical and cultural works across the country...
