Compared to her contemporaries, Khanh Ngoc admits that she has a smooth career path.

The female singer suddenly became famous after winning first prize in the 2004 Television Singing Contest. At that time, she was only 20 years old and a student at the Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts. From then on, the life of the singer Mong Thuy Tinh officially turned a new page.

"At that time, I was a senior student. So I decided to compete in the 2004 Television Singing Contest and was lucky to win first prize. After that, I entered the professional singing career and became an exclusive singer of Nhac Xanh company, releasing album vol.1 with the song "Vang trang khoc", Khanh Ngoc recalled.

After releasing her first song, Khanh Ngoc continued to create a sensation and was widely accepted by the public. By 2005, she began to flourish and continuously performed shows non-stop.

When asked about the highest salary during her heyday, Khanh Ngoc revealed: "At that time, I went on a cultural exchange trip to Korea. I received a salary of 5,000 USD. This amount was also shared with the company."

Kim Tu Long also admitted that in the 2000s, when Khanh Ngoc was mentioned, the audience was "buzzing", everywhere they went they heard the hit "Crying Moon".

The incident that caused the career to stagnate

However, Khanh Ngoc said her fame only lasted for the first 6 years. When she got married, her career began to decline. She stopped singing for 3-4 years to give birth and take care of her family. However, when she decided to return to the music industry, she encountered an incident.

Khanh Ngoc once encountered an incident that interrupted her singing career.

"After settling down with my children, I wanted to return to the stage, but my husband and I divorced. After that, I had health problems and symptoms of postpartum depression. Under a lot of pressure, I lost my voice and couldn't even sing children's songs. At that time, I was very unstable," the singer confided.

Speaking more about the situation at that time, Khanh Ngoc said she was diagnosed with autonomic nervous disorder.

"When I first heard about this disease, I was always nervous, scared, and had negative thoughts. Every time I went on stage, I trembled, I felt humiliated and ashamed. When I went on stage, my hands and feet were cold and shaking, and my voice was shaky, going up and down.

At that time, I had no money, so I had to work hard and go out to support my children and my family. Because I couldn't sing well, I was afraid to go on stage. That was the most terrible time of my life," the female singer confided.

Khanh Ngoc was born in 1983, and grew up from the 2004 Television Singing Contest where she won the championship title. She was the most favorite young singer of the 2005 Blue Wave.

In 2011, Khanh Ngoc got married and divorced two years later. She did not share the reason for the breakup and limited her mention of her ex-husband.
