At the Seminar, Mr. Chia Zhi Wei shared his journey of learning and career development starting from his time studying at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) – a challenging period in the context of the global financial crisis of 2008-2009. The next turning point came from the MBA program at Singapore Management University (SMU), an international environment that helped him broaden his thinking and vision.
His experience working at leading companies such as Accenture, Oddle, MTI and Growth Impact Group has equipped him with comprehensive skills, nurturing his desire to conquer the global market. He said that although the journey was not without difficulties, it always contained joy and a unique motivation.
Looking back on the past, he concluded two key lessons: Understanding goals and internal motivation is a solid foundation for all success; at the same time, continuously practicing a growth mindset will help each person constantly move forward.

The speaker encouraged everyone to proactively step out of their comfort zone, take on challenges to learn and grow. In addition, building good relationships, appreciating kindness and learning to say "no" to focus on real priorities are also indispensable factors on the career path.
The Q&A session was lively, with many questions from students about balancing career and personal life, how to set goals and stay motivated, and how to deal with external and internal pressures.

Mr. Chia Zhi Wei also had a working session and discussed with Ambassador Tao Thi Thanh Huong and Acting Dean of the Faculty of International Economics Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong about international cooperation, organizing seminars and conferences to connect students of the Diplomatic Academy, majoring in international economics and international business with international speakers.
The activity affirms the efforts of the Diplomatic Academy in enhancing the provision of students with international practical experiences from foreign experts, contributing to improving the quality of training and equipping the future generation of bachelors of the Academy with solid knowledge.
