On the morning of April 30th, Miss Bao Ngoc, Thanh Thuy, H'Hen Nie, Ngoc Chau, Tieu Vy, Kieu Duy, Mr. Vietnam Tuan Ngoc, director Hoang Nhat Nam… along with numerous other artists appeared radiant in the parade of the Culture, Sports , and Media Bloc to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country.
Miss Intercontinental 2022 Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc expressed her pride in the moment of wearing the traditional Vietnamese ao dai dress in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City – on such a special day as today.
“My heart is filled with pride and gratitude. I believe that history is not only found in books but is also present in every action, every choice in life, and every contribution of each person. Today, being a part of that flow, I have even more faith in the aspiration to rise up, and in the young generation of Vietnam – those who both preserve their identity and pioneer in building the future,” said Miss Bao Ngoc.
Miss Tran Tieu Vy wore an ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) provided by the organizers and arrived early with her family.
Tieu Vy shared: “The moment I immersed myself in the parade through the streets, seeing the national flag fluttering, and meeting people who seemed like strangers but shared the same joy of peace , freedom, and independence. That was the first time I truly felt small, yet incredibly lucky and proud to be walking in a world of freedom.”

As one of the young people participating in the parade alongside the artists, Miss Vietnam 2024 Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy expressed her honor to be able to be a part of the parade, a major event of the country.
She said, "Every step I take on the parade route with the artists makes me feel even prouder to be a Vietnamese."
Sharing his feelings about this special moment, Mr. Vietnam Pham Tuan Ngoc said emotionally: “Standing among the artists at the ceremony, I felt a profound sense of pride spreading through my heart. Watching the red flag with a yellow star fluttering against the deep blue sky, my heart swelled with indescribable emotions – as if I were connected to the flow of our nation's history, to the sacrifices, losses, and aspirations for progress. In that moment, standing alongside the artists, I felt not just an individual, but a part of the great Vietnamese family, together lighting the flame of pride, preserving and spreading traditional values to future generations.”
Speaking about this memorable experience, Miss International 2024 Thanh Thủy said: "When the whole country turns its attention to the homeland, when the red flag with a yellow star flies high in the sky and thousands of soldiers and civilians from all over the country are united for the name 'Vietnam,' that is a moment when the national spirit spreads more strongly than ever before. I feel incredibly moved and proud to be Vietnamese."
