Although it is just an idea, the project of young man Nguyen Van Minh (born 1993) - Secretary of the Tan Thanh Commune Youth Union (Lam Dong province) is completely feasible, because the locality possesses diverse advantages in resources, creating ideal conditions for community tourism development.
Tan Thanh was merged from 3 communes Tan Thuan, Tan Thanh and Thuan Quy, is a harmonious combination of 3 factors: having both sea and primeval forest along the mountain, also owning high-tech dragon fruit gardens and fruit farms.
Born and raised in Tan Thanh commune, witnessing the changes and development of the locality day by day, Minh saw that people here mainly live on farming and fishing, the economy has not had significant development.
In recent years, as Tan Thanh commune has attracted many tourism projects for investment, construction and operation, people have also begun to shift from farming and fishing to services and tourism. Many homestays, motels, and restaurants have begun to spring up to welcome tourists for sightseeing and relaxation.
As a coastal commune, Tan Thanh has many beautiful and famous landscapes such as: Ke Ga Lighthouse, Hon Lan Cape, Chua Cave, and traditional religious sites with unique characteristics of coastal people such as: Van Van Phong, Van Van Long - places to worship Whale (God of the South Sea). In addition, the existence of the association of fishermen in the 3 old communes has successfully implemented the model of "Co-management of aquatic resources" for more than 15 years, contributing to the regeneration of aquatic resources and protection of the marine environment here.

Minh shared: This is a favorable condition for the locality to develop attractive experiential and discovery tours. When visiting Tan Thanh commune, tourists can join fishermen in fishing and learn about the seafood farming model. This model not only brings authentic experiences but also has educational significance on marine conservation, contributing to promoting the green economy.
In addition, visitors can also visit religious tourism, garden tourism, camping next to the lighthouse... Thereby, they can learn more about the life, customs and practices of coastal communities.
In addition, agriculture in Tan Thanh has also developed strongly with dragon fruit and high-tech fruit trees, applying modern irrigation. Community tourism models at dragon fruit gardens and Binh An farms have attracted thousands of visitors each year. Tourists can experience fruit picking, learn farming techniques, and stay at rural homestays, contributing to diversifying tourism products.
In order for the project to become a reality, in addition to the young man's enthusiasm and detailed plan, it is necessary to have the cooperation of the government, community and businesses, towards a green and sustainable tourism model. Tan Thanh not only has the potential for tourism development but is also a testament to the vitality of the community in the new era. Developing community tourism here not only helps people improve their economy, but also contributes to preserving cultural identity and preserving natural resources.

Nguyen Van Minh shared: I love traveling and have been to many places from North to South. Through my experience, I was especially impressed with the Sa Dec Flower Village Community Tourism model (Dong Thap), where with only normal conditions, it has created great efficiency, bringing practical benefits to the people. From there, I cherished building a similar model right in my hometown, where there are more advantages, to both contribute to local development and help people change their livelihoods, together improving the family economy.
