On May 30th, at the Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Center - Area 3, the Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Children's Council, in coordination with the Department of Health, launched the Month of Action for Children and inaugurated summer activities for 2026 with the theme "Happy, Safe, and Steadfast Children in the Digital Age".
The 2026 Children's Action Month and summer activities are organized to mobilize the whole society in the protection, care, and education of children, while also creating more beneficial and healthy playgrounds so that children can have a joyful, safe, and meaningful summer.
In particular, amidst the ongoing digital transformation, equipping children with digital skills, self-protection skills, and the ability to identify and avoid risks in the online environment is an urgent requirement, helping them to be confident, resilient, and safe in the digital age.

Ms. Le Thi Mai Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Ninh Binh Provincial Children's Council, emphasized that during the 2026 Action Month for Children, the Youth Union and Children's Council at all levels in Ninh Binh province will focus on promoting awareness of children's rights, the responsibility to protect and care for children, and strengthening measures to prevent and combat accidents, injuries, drowning, child abuse, and risks in cyberspace.
Organize diverse cultural, artistic, sports, and creative experiential activities, as well as life skills and self-protection skills education for young people. Strengthen volunteer activities, social welfare programs, and care for disadvantaged children, children in remote areas, and vulnerable children.
At the same time, the role of the Youth Union, Children's Union, families, schools, and the entire society in managing and educating young people during the summer should be promoted, building a safe, friendly, and humane living environment for children. Youth centers in the province should continue to effectively utilize their facilities, organize activities to educate children in skills, culture, sports, and creative experiences, creating more healthy playgrounds for children during the summer.
At the event, the Organizing Committee presented many meaningful gifts to underprivileged children on the occasion of International Children's Day on June 1st. Many gifts were also given to students of clubs and talent classes at the Provincial Youth Center.
