According to information from the Fatherland Front Committee of Tuy Hoa City, many models of mutual support for economic development, improving living standards, and legitimate wealth creation are currently being maintained in the city, initiated and implemented by the Fatherland Front committees at all levels.
These include models for growing ornamental plants and flowers, breeding cattle, raising ducks; rotating flower and vegetable crops; growing straw mushrooms and gray oyster mushrooms; growing flowers and ornamental plants; raising civets and commercial eels in Hoa Kien commune. The focus is on building and developing effective economic models and mobilizing, guiding, and supporting farmers to participate in the development of collective economic forms in agriculture and building and developing professional associations and groups. A cooperative for growing safe vegetables was established in Binh Ngoc commune with 4 members; a flower and ornamental plant growing village was launched in Lien Tri 1 neighborhood, Binh Kien commune, with 115 households. The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have also expanded the movement to promote solidarity within the community, mutual support and assistance, with each well-off or wealthy farming household helping 1-2 poor households to rise out of poverty.
