Three locations will host low-altitude fireworks displays to welcome the New Year 2026: Dam Sen Cultural Park in Binh Thoi Ward; Saigon Marina IFC Tower in Saigon Ward; and Kim Long Villa area near Rach Dia Bridge in Nha Be Commune. Each location will feature 90 low-altitude fireworks displays. The funding for these fireworks displays will be provided through social contributions, without using state budget funds.

In addition to the fireworks display, on the evening of December 31st, Ho Chi Minh City also organized a countdown event to welcome the new year 2026 on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, creating a vibrant atmosphere for residents and tourists during the New Year's Day celebrations.

According to the plan of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, the fireworks display will combine high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks, with a maximum height of approximately 150 meters. The display will last from 10 to 15 minutes, taking place between 0:00 and 0:15 on January 1, 2026, at the Eco Retreat urban area in Ben Luc commune.

The cost of organizing the fireworks display is covered by the business. The unit providing, advising, and organizing the fireworks display is Chemical Company No. 21 (Ministry of National Defense).

Dong Nai

To celebrate the New Year 2026, Dong Nai province will hold a low-altitude fireworks display at Hoa An Bridge area (Tran Bien ward). The fireworks show will last 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 1, 2026. The funding for this event will be raised through social mobilization, without using state budget funds.

In addition, Dong Nai will also organize a series of activities to welcome the New Year from December 28, 2025 to the morning of January 1, 2026 along the Dong Nai riverside road. The event offers a vibrant experience with a modern stage, sound, and lighting system; exciting dance competitions; and artistic light shows in the air combined with multi-tiered fireworks displays on the river.

The highlight of the program is the art performance featuring many famous artists and singers, combined with a spectacular high-altitude fireworks display from the top of Hoa An Bridge at midnight, creating a dazzling atmosphere to welcome the new year 2026.

With the approval of the People's Committee of Hanoi City, the Department of Culture and Sports, in coordination with relevant agencies, will organize the New Year's Eve 2026 Art Program, including the Hanoi Countdown 2026 program and fireworks displays, taking place from the evening of December 31, 2025 to the early morning of January 1, 2026.

To ensure security, order, and traffic safety during the New Year's Eve celebrations in 2026, the Hanoi City Police are organizing traffic diversions and restrictions as follows:

From 1 PM on December 31, 2025, traffic will be prohibited in the pedestrian area around Hoan Kiem Lake; at the same time, buses and trucks will be prohibited from entering Ngo Quyen, Hai Ba Trung, Ly Thuong Kiet, Hang Trong, Nha Chung, Hang Gai, Hang Hom, and Ly Thai To streets.

From 6 PM on December 31, 2025, to the early morning of January 1, 2026, cars are prohibited from entering Hai Ba Trung and Hang Bai streets; all vehicles are prohibited from circulating on Hang Trong, Hang Hom, Hang Gai, and Ly Thai To streets; and vehicles from Nguyen Huu Huan street are prohibited from entering the Old Quarter area.

Authorities organized traffic diversion and guidance from a distance at the intersections of Ly Thuong Kiet - Ba Trieu, Ly Thuong Kiet - Hang Bai, Ly Thuong Kiet - Quang Trung and surrounding routes to ensure safe and smooth traffic flow.
