Attending the event were comrades: Truong Tan Sang, former Politburo member, former President; Ha Thi Khiet, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of Home Affairs ; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province.
Before the inauguration ceremony, delegates visited the heroic martyrs at Vi Xuyen Martyrs Cemetery.
The project to renovate and upgrade martyrs' graves at Vi Xuyen Martyrs' Cemetery started in the first quarter of 2025. The project includes the following items: Repairing the memorial; building 200 new martyrs' graves; renovating 1,985 martyrs' graves, removing existing stone cladding and concrete surfaces on the grave surface and utilizing 60% of the old stone, replacing 40% with new white natural stone.

Immediately after the groundbreaking day, the investor and the construction unit mobilized human and material resources to implement the construction of the project. By July 9, 100% of the volume had been completed, ensuring quality and progress.

The renovation and upgrading of martyrs' graves shows the gratitude of the Party, State and people to the heroic martyrs buried at Vi Xuyen Martyrs' Cemetery, at the same time contributingto educating the revolutionary tradition and the morality of remembering the source of drinking water for the younger generation, meeting the needs of visiting and performing spiritual activities of martyrs' relatives.

At the inauguration ceremony, former President Truong Tan Sang; former Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission Ha Thi Khiet; Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh presented 50 savings books and 50 gifts to veterans inside and outside Tuyen Quang province who fought at the Vi Xuyen front.
Former President Truong Tan Sang kindly inquired about the health and living conditions of the veterans. He hoped that the veterans would continue to uphold the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, always be exemplary, take the lead in local emulation movements, well implement the policies and laws of the Party and State, and be a shining example for their families and the younger generation to follow.

Leaders of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of Home Affairs and Tuyen Quang province presented hundreds of gifts to policy families and meritorious people in mountainous communes of Tuyen Quang province.
