On July 31, the working group led by comrade Nguyen Van Minh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Organization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, worked with the Party Committees of the wards: Phu Nhuan, Duc Nhuan, Cau Kieu and Binh Phu on the preparation and organization of the Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
At the meeting, the leaders of the Party Committees of the wards reported in detail the leadership plan to organize the congresses of branches and grassroots Party Committees, towards the Congress of the Party Committee of the ward; congress documents, targets; time and number of delegates attending the congress; key projects; problems and difficulties that still need to be resolved and proposed a number of recommendations to the working group.
The members of the working group assessed that the documents implemented by the wards had a direction and structure that closely followed the instructions, had a focus, and highlighted the outstanding content of the locality. The wards also paid much attention to social security projects. At the same time, they gave comments on many key contents, including the contents and targets in the documents.
The working group also suggested that wards add more indicators on resolving people's legitimate petitions and recommendations; adding indicators on Party building solutions; developing new businesses in the area; preventing corruption and negativity, etc.
Comrade Nguyen Van Minh also suggested that the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the wards review and update the major orientations and policies of the Central Government and Ho Chi Minh City to promptly complete the congress documents. In which, the results of public works should be presented, the general assessment of limitations should be made and solutions should be proposed to overcome them.
In the coming time, wards need to pay attention to administrative procedure reform and increase the rate of online application submission. He suggested that wards include digital transformation targets in documents and have directions so that all people can submit applications online at home in the coming time.
He also noted that the wards should do a good job of propagating the congress so that all people know and participate in giving comments on the congress documents.
