On the evening of November 17, coach Philippe Troussier and his team returned home from Manila (Philippines) at 11:00 p.m. on November 17. The plane carrying the Vietnamese team landed at 1:40 a.m. on November 18.
Because there are only 2 flights from the Philippines to Vietnam every day (5am and 11pm), the Vietnamese team chose to fly late at night so that the players have time to rest and recover in Manila.
On November 17, the coaching staff let the players work out at the hotel and relax at the swimming pool. The Vietnamese team was divided into 3 groups based on the frequency of activities in the match with the Philippines team to practice according to the appropriate volume.
At Noi Bai airport, coach Philippe Troussier and his team were quickly assisted with check-in procedures and boarded the bus arranged by VFF to return to the hotel to rest.
It is expected that on the afternoon of November 18, the group of players who played less, did not enter the field and were not registered for the match against the Philippines will go to the field to practice. The remaining group of players will practice recovery at the hotel.
