After the 2-1 victory over U23 Philippines in the semi-final, the coaching staff spent the entire morning resting and relaxing after 90 minutes of intense competition. In the afternoon, coach Kim Sang Sik and fitness expert Cedric Roger carried out training activities in the gym, designed to suit the physical condition of each group of players.

Accordingly, the group of players who started in the semi-final only did stretching, recovery and conditioning exercises. Meanwhile, the group of players who did not play or rarely played were given additional exercises to strengthen muscles and strength.
Fortunately, U23 Vietnam did not record any serious injuries after the semi-final match. Striker Quoc Viet showed signs of pain after a collision with an opposing player but did not have any worrying problems. Coach Kim Sang Sik currently has a full squad to prepare for the most important match of the tournament.
Tomorrow afternoon (July 27), the team will return to the training ground to hone their plans for the final match against U23 Indonesia. This match will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 29 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.

This is the third consecutive time that U23 Vietnam has participated in the final match of the U23 Southeast Asian tournament, after winning the championship twice in 2022 and 2023. With careful preparation and confidence, the whole team is aiming to successfully defend the championship.
