At the press conference, Mr. Le Ngoc An - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee informed in detail about the socio -economic situation of the province in the first 6 months of 2025. Despite facing many difficulties and common challenges of the economy, the socio-economic situation of the province still maintained a fairly good growth and development momentum.
Specifically, agricultural, forestry and fishery production continued to grow positively. The average yield of the Winter-Spring crop was estimated at 73.5 quintals/ha, an increase of 0.1 quintal/ha over the same period; livestock farming was stable, while the output of aquatic products was estimated at 144,200 tons, an increase of about 3.1% over the same period. The index of industrial production (IIP) was estimated to increase from 9.7% to 10.3%. Export turnover reached 940.9 million USD, an increase of 9.5% over the same period. The number of tourists to the province reached more than 6.5 million, tourism revenue increased by 14.2%, reaching 16,000 billion VND.

Regarding budget revenue, total revenue is estimated at VND9,284 billion, reaching 53.3% of the annual plan, up 43.1% over the same period. Disbursement of public investment capital managed by the province reached VND4,541 billion, reaching 53.67% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister . Social security policies have been effectively implemented, contributing to improving people's lives. Administrative reform has also continued to be promoted, creating favorable conditions for businesses and people.
In particular, the province has implemented the arrangement of administrative units and built a 2-level local government organization model, and at the same time built a project to arrange Gia Lai province with Binh Dinh province.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the province will continue to focus on implementing the 2025 plan tasks, ensuring the completion of important targets and solutions to implement the socio-economic development plan and the state budget. The economic growth target of 8% or more in 2025 will be an important challenge for all levels, sectors and localities in the province.
