Chau Doc City People's Committee conducts training on the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction

Attending the training course were leaders, poverty reduction officers of wards and communes, heads and deputy heads of hamlets and villages, and investigators on the professional investigation and review of poor and near-poor households. At the training session, delegates were informed of the plan to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in An Giang province in 2023; a report on the assessment of the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in the mid-term period of 2021 - 2025 in the province, expected results of the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in 2023 and orientations for 2024; some orientations and poverty reduction targets in 2024; the process of reviewing poor and near-poor households; instructions on the use and collection of information, interviews with review forms; synthesis of review results; instructions on making a list of poor and near-poor households in 2023 to serve the connection of the national population database.

The training session aims to equip and improve knowledge and skills to help local poverty reduction officers improve their professional expertise, update new knowledge, and contribute to effectively implementing poverty reduction programs and goals in the coming time.
