Vương Thanh TúVương Thanh Tú24/05/2023

In accordance with Circular 78/2021/TT-BTC guiding the implementation of some provisions of the Law on Tax Administration dated June 13, 2019, and Government Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020, regulating invoices and documents (Decree 123), in May 2023, the Center for Information Technology and Digital Technology, Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), in coordination with the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Cultural and Scientific Activities Center, upgraded the electronic ticketing system to use electronic receipts.

Visitors to the Temple of Literature - National University have a new experience with the electronic receipt system.

Thus, starting this June, the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám Cultural and Scientific Activities Center will take a new step forward in technological solutions compared to the previous use of electronic tickets, providing visitors with a new experience of the electronic receipt system as stipulated in Decree 123. Visitors can easily look up their ticket purchase history, invoices, and ticket storage information in various flexible ways, avoiding ticket loss through electronic receipts provided by the Center for Information Technology and Digital Technology (Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy , Ministry of Industry and Trade).

With this system, visitors only need to purchase one ticket (in the form of an electronic receipt) and then scan the QR code for the entire group to enter, instead of buying a separate paper ticket for each person as in the old method. This system needs to be distinguished from automatic ticket gates, because the QR code printed on the electronic receipt ticket is not only used for scanning when visitors pass through the gate but also contains complete information about the actual date and time the ticket was issued, the serial number, and can be looked up in the management system to check the ticket status.

In order to contribute to promoting the heritage value of the Temple of Literature - National University, and to transform the site into a high-quality tourist destination of the Capital and the whole country, including the implementation of technology in heritage work and activities, the Center for Information Technology and Digital Technology (Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade) believes that this upgrade of electronic receipts will actively support the management and operation model of the Temple of Literature - National University in a scientific and transparent manner. This will enhance the visitor experience, and at the same time, ticket checkers will no longer have to painstakingly check each ticket corresponding to the person, nor will they need to receive and tear tickets when visitors pass through the gate as before…
