In the context of the nationwide rollout of E10 bioethanol fuel from June 1, 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has launched an online feedback channel through the "Around Me" application, allowing people to search for gas stations, check the types of fuel being sold, and submit feedback on fuel quality.

According to the published information, the application allows:
- Find the nearest gas station.
- Check which stores are selling E5 or E10.
- Check the listed prices at each point of sale.
- Directions to the gas station.
- Check the operational status of the gas station.
- Submit feedback regarding fuel quality.
- Report instances of incorrect pricing, unusual store closures, or refusal to sell goods.

Users can provide feedback on gasoline quality directly on their phones.
The most notable feature of the app is its ability to reflect fuel quality.
If you notice any unusual signs such as:
- The car is difficult to start after refueling.
- The engine is vibrating abnormally.
- Fuel consumption has increased sharply.
- Suspicions arise that the gasoline is of poor quality.
- The store is selling at a price different from the listed price.
Citizens can submit feedback directly to the management agency through the application, where it will be received and processed according to regulations.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that data from consumers will support authorities in monitoring the petroleum market, especially during the initial phase of widespread deployment of E10 gasoline.
Help find stores selling E5 and E10.
One of the biggest concerns for people switching to E10 fuel is not knowing which stores are supplying it.
The "Near Me" app is designed to address this problem by allowing users to filter by the type of goods sold at each store, helping them quickly identify the nearest E5 or E10 sales point.
This information is particularly useful as the Ministry of Industry and Trade requires distribution systems to prepare sufficient supplies of E5 and E10 nationwide from the beginning of June 2026.
Ministry of Industry and Trade: If fuel causes vehicle damage, the supplier will be held responsible.
Regarding concerns about the quality of E10 gasoline, the Ministry of Industry and Trade affirms that if there is sufficient evidence to determine that a vehicle malfunction stems from fuel quality, the fuel supplier will be primarily responsible. Consumers are advised to retain fuel purchase receipts and documents and report any abnormalities promptly.
Recently, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc also requested relevant agencies to continue closely monitoring the quality of E10 gasoline, ensuring consumer rights, and publicly and transparently disclosing information related to the standards and compatibility of the new fuel.
