V-League is nearing its end: Two extremely heated races remain.

Even after CAHN secured the championship three rounds early, the LPBank V-League 2025/26 remains highly watchable due to the intense competition at both the top and bottom of the standings.

Although the V-League champion has already been determined, the final rounds still promise to be exciting, as teams like The Cong Viettel , Ninh Binh, and Hanoi FC will do their best to secure the top spot.

Currently, The Cong Viettel has 49 points and is in second place, 5 points ahead of Ninh Binh and 7 points ahead of Hanoi FC. Although Coach Popov's team has a fairly safe lead, they still need to play with focus in the remaining 3 matches, especially since defender Dinh Viet Tu has just received a suspension for the rest of the season.

In their next three matches, The Cong Viettel will face PVF-CAND (round 24, home), CA TP.HCM (round 25, away), and CAHN (round 26, home). If they perform to their potential, Bui Tien Dung and his teammates could secure at least 3-4 points from these three matches, thus finishing in second place in the standings.

Conversely, the opportunity would be for Ninh Binh. The team from the ancient capital of Hoa Lu must win maximum points in the next three matches, while also hoping that The Cong Viettel slips up to secure the runner-up title.

For Hanoi FC, the most realistic goal is a top 3 finish. The capital city team is currently 3 points behind Ninh Binh, so they have every hope of winning a medal this season.

In the race for second place in the final standings, either The Cong Viettel or Ninh Binh will represent Vietnamese football in the AFC Champions League 2026/27. This is the goal that keeps the V-League race exciting even after CAHN's championship win.

At the bottom of the table, the relegation battle is also intense. With 1.5 relegation spots available this season (including one direct relegation spot and one play-off spot), the final three rounds are truly nail-biting for the teams at the bottom of the table.

SLNA (24 points, ranked 10th) has the advantage as they only need a draw to secure their survival in the league. In second place, HAGL, with 22 points, is still not guaranteed survival. In their next three matches, HAGL will face Thanh Hoa, Hanoi FC, and Becamex Ho Chi Minh City, all tough opponents or teams desperate for points.

SHB Da Nang is doing everything it can to avoid relegation.

In 12th place, Becamex TP.HCM is only 4 points ahead of the bottom-placed team. Coach Hua Hien Vinh's team risks relegation to the First Division next season if they don't achieve good results in their remaining matches.

The most tense situations are between SHB Da Nang and PVF-CAND, both currently tied with 17 points. SHB Da Nang's remaining matches include games against Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, and Thanh Hoa. The team from the Han River is doing everything to successfully avoid relegation, or at least secure a play-off spot.

For PVF-CAND, they will face The Cong Viettel, Hai Phong, and SLNA in the last three rounds. This is a very tough schedule for the V-League newcomer, as The Cong Viettel still aims for a top 2 finish, SLNA's survival in the league is not yet guaranteed, while Hai Phong is a team that is not easy to deal with.
