On May 25, Ha Tinh Power Company (PC Ha Tinh) in coordination with the Northern Power Construction Project Management Board (BA3) successfully energized and officially put into operation the Loc Ha 110kV Transformer Station (TSS). The TSS was built in Thach My commune (Thach Ha district), part of the Loc Ha 110kV transmission line and transformer station project.
This is a key power grid investment project, marking an important step forward in ensuring stable power supply, improving power transmission capacity and promoting local socio -economic development.
Mr. Nguyen Kien Cuong - Director of Loc Ha Power Company said: "Loc Ha Power Company is supplying electricity to 30,595 customers in 11 communes and towns (Binh An, Hong Loc, Tan Loc, Thach Kim, Thinh Loc, Ich Hau, Phu Luu, Mai Phu, Thach Chau, Loc Ha town in Thach Ha district and Ho Do commune in Ha Tinh city). Previously, the power grid was supplied from 2 sources: Thach Linh 110 kV substation (Ha Tinh city) and Can Loc 110 kV substation through interconnected circuits. Putting into operation Loc Ha 110kV substation will meet the load development needs of localities, contributing to the completion of the distribution grid according to the province's power development plan".
The Loc Ha 110kV transmission line and substation project is invested by the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), part of the Power Development Plan of Ha Tinh province for the period 2021-2030, with a view to 2050, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade . The total investment of the project is over 135 billion VND.
Loc Ha 110kV transformer station is built with a scale of 2 110/35/22kV transformers (first phase installs 1 transformer with a capacity of 25 MVA); invests in 11,919 km of 110kV double-circuit line.
The project also includes a central control house, equipment system, surveillance cameras, fire prevention and fighting meeting unmanned station standards; information system and SCADA connected to Ha Tinh Remote Control Center, Northern Power System Dispatch Center and EVNNPC Data Center.
Along with putting Loc Ha 110kV substation into operation, PC Ha Tinh has synchronously energized 4 22kV feeders including: Feeders 471, 473 (newly constructed 1,135m of 22kV double-circuit underground cable and 534m of double-circuit overhead line); Feeders 475, 477 (newly constructed 1,538km of 22kV underground cable, 2,181km of single-circuit overhead line, renovated 1,933km of single-circuit line). The total investment for the 4 feeders is 21,062 billion VND.
During the project implementation and construction of the exit routes, the unit encountered many difficulties due to administrative boundary adjustment, directly affecting the process of completing documents, legal procedures as well as compensation and site clearance.
However, thanks to the close direction of the Northern Power Corporation, the drastic efforts of the Board of Directors and the Project Management Board of the company, along with the support and assistance from the local authorities and people, the project was implemented on schedule. Putting the Loc Ha 110kV substation and 4 22kV feeders into operation not only effectively meets the electricity needs of 30,595 customers in 11 communes and towns in Thach Ha district and Ha Tinh city, but also contributes to the completion of the distribution grid according to the power development plan of Ha Tinh province for the period 2021-2030, with a view to 2050, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
