From the local agricultural products, the people of Van Lang have applied science and technology to transform them into high-value economic products.
In the early days after the merger, the Van Lang commune headquarters was bustling like a "large construction site" with the responsible involvement of the Party committee and the flexibility of the government, aiming to quickly stabilize the administrative apparatus with 69 officials and employees. To ensure the apparatus "runs" with the power of dedication, the commune invested heavily in information technology systems, putting three online meeting rooms into use, creating a modern administrative appearance right from the grassroots level.
The spirit of serving the people has been proven by the numbers: 100% of administrative procedures are resolved correctly and ahead of schedule, 100% of documents are digitally signed, and 100% of people are satisfied, reflecting the unwavering determination to change and put the people's interests first. The core guiding this journey is Party building, with the success of the first Party Congress of the commune for the 2025-2030 term and the standardization of 100% of Party member data, creating consensus and unity throughout the entire political system.

Building on the stability of the administrative apparatus, the socio-economic landscape of Van Lang in 2025 is bright: Total budget revenue reached approximately 17.2 billion VND, exceeding the forecast by 159.2%, and the poverty rate decreased to 4.67%. The agricultural economy is robust with 1,680 hectares of crops, 307 hectares of water surface, and over 861 tons of aquatic products, including FSC-certified large timber forests and characteristic products such as rice noodles, green squash, and fermented fish, which maintain their position, helping the commune complete 16 out of 19 new rural development targets. The development of industry, handicrafts, and services is equally vibrant, with woodworking factories, workshops, and the Ha Hoa Shoe Company creating stable jobs for hundreds of workers.

Not only the economy, but also socio-cultural life has undergone significant transformations, with 11 schools diligently cultivating knowledge, over 6,000 people receiving medical care annually, and 27 community cultural centers operating, contributing to a 95.7% rate of culturally exemplary families. Along with the timely and complete implementation of policies and achieving 100% of military recruitment targets, Van Lang University is building a social welfare system where no one is left behind.

Building on its initial successes, Van Lang is aiming for bigger goals and a longer-term vision to become a new "growth pole" in the Northwest of Phu Tho province. A series of key projects are being strongly promoted, including the Ha Hoa Industrial Park (over 400 hectares), the Ha Hoa Industrial Cluster (74 hectares), and an ecological residential area and golf course (nearly 289 hectares) with an estimated investment of over 7,600 billion VND, expanding the economic space along major transportation routes such as IC11 and National Highway 70B.
Besides well-planned development and trade and services, the commune also develops high-tech agriculture and community tourism based on the landscape of the Red River, lakes, and historical sites such as Nam Sang Temple and Vo Tranh communal house. In particular, one of the greatest resources in the locality is its expatriates, who return in various ways, from providing social welfare support and scholarships to starting businesses and bringing new technologies, becoming a bridge for development.
The aspiration to build Van Lang into a livable, prosperous, civilized, and modern land, as outlined in the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, is becoming increasingly evident, as the will of the Party and the aspirations of the people have merged into one on this land rich in tradition.
