These April days, the streets are adorned with flags and flowers, and the people's hearts are filled with joy as they sing the song "The Nation is Filled with Joy."

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Thuan province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the liberation of Southern Vietnam and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), many generations returned to the school where teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh (Ho Chi Minh) taught before embarking on his journey to save the country, to reminisce about those historical days and admire the photo collection "President Ho Chi Minh and the cause of national liberation".

Many delegations from within and outside the province visited Duc Thanh School on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of their homeland.

For every Vietnamese person, April 30, 1975, is a momentous historical day. It was the day the country was liberated from enemy forces. Over half a century later, photographs preserving these wartime moments have become invaluable relics for future generations to emulate and be proud of. These include images of the fervent fighting spirit and joy of the soldiers and people of Hanoi in October 1954 after nine years of protracted resistance; the will of the youth nationwide in November 1971; American enemy planes shot down over Hanoi during the "Dien Bien Phu in the Air" battle in December 1972; comrades in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign command discussing battle plans in April 1975; and images of troops advancing to liberate Hue, Da Nang, and Buon Ma Thuot in 1975… In addition, visitors and locals can also see a resilient and indomitable Binh Thuan in its fight against the enemy. These are the responsible and courageous decisions made by generations of local Party leaders in exceptional circumstances…

Although he has passed away, he has left our nation an invaluable legacy.

The life and career of President Ho Chi Minh have become a revolutionary symbol, inspiring aspirations and faith in the Vietnamese people and progressive people around the world in their struggle for independence, freedom, peace, democracy, and social progress. Although he has passed away, he has left our nation an invaluable legacy: the Ho Chi Minh era; the Ho Chi Minh cause; and the Ho Chi Minh thought, morality, and style. The Ho Chi Minh thought, morality, and style are the crystallization of our nation's finest traditions and the essence of human culture; they serve as a shining example for all Vietnamese people to learn from and emulate.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ro (Binh Tan commune, Bac Binh district) said: "Through authentic historical images of Uncle Ho and the struggle for national independence, generations will appreciate the value of peace even more. Building on revolutionary traditions, we must unite, strive to compete in labor and production, develop socio-economic aspects, and build our homeland into an increasingly prosperous and beautiful place."

Every citizen will always remember Uncle Ho - the man who dedicated his entire life to the revolution, to the people, and to the country.

Tran Le Anh Thu (Class 10A4, Phan Boi Chau High School) shared: "I've heard many stories about Uncle Ho, about the Liberation Day of the South and the reunification of the country at school, but this is the first time I've seen authentic photos of these historical moments of our nation. The more proud and appreciative we are, the more responsible we feel towards our homeland and country in the journey ahead."

As the nation rejoices today, we once again express our gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh – the initiator of the revolutionary movement – and to the countless heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives, blood, and youth for national independence.
