The price of SJC gold listed by the gold house is 75.48 million VND/tael for buying and 76.98 million VND/tael for selling.
This afternoon, DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 74.98 million VND/tael for buying and 76.98 million VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey listed the price of SJC gold at 76.20 - 76.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 75.88 - 76.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 76.00 - 76.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Last week, SJC company and commercial banks raised the buying price of SJC gold bars to half a million VND/tael, which has reduced the buying and selling price of gold bars to 1.5 million VND compared to previous weeks at 2 million VND/tael.
Last week, the gold ring item recorded a breakthrough trading week when it continuously accelerated and far exceeded the price of gold bars. In particular, during the week, some businesses adjusted the selling price to exceed the threshold of 77 million VND/tael, which is considered unprecedented in the domestic gold price during the past time because the price of SJC gold bars is often tens of millions of VND higher than that of gold rings.
Currently, Saigon Jewelry Company listed the price of gold rings at 75.15-76.65 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out), an increase of 550,000 VND/tael for buying and an increase of 400,000 VND/tael for selling. Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 75.68-76.98 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out); an increase of 300,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling.
The central exchange rate listed by the State Bank is 24,248 VND/USD, down 5 VND/USD. The USD price at commercial banks is traded around 25,210 VND/USD for buying and 25,460 VND/USD for selling.

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 2:00 p.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,411.58 USD/ounce. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 73.041 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 2.439 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

The world gold price closed the trading session at 2,411.58 USD/ounce compared to the previous week's closing price, up 22 USD/ounce. The precious metal marked the third consecutive week of price increase.
Market sentiment changed dramatically last week after the US released CPI data for June 2024, which unexpectedly fell for the first time in four years. Following this data, the CME FedWatch Tool indicated a 93% chance that the US Federal Reserve (FED) would cut interest rates in September 2024, up from 70% before the CPI data was released.
Gold Price Forecast
Analysts say the precious metal is finding new momentum to reach a new all-time high. Currently, the world gold price is only about 1% away from the previous high.
Carsten Fritsch, a commodities analyst at Commerzbank, also expects gold to hit an all-time high next week. The September rate cut is almost fully priced in, so gold could return to a new record high in the coming days.
