National U15 Championship Finals: Dong Thap springs a surprise.

Dong Thap caused a major surprise by defeating The Cong Viettel I 3-0 in the group stage of the 2025 National U15 Football Championship.

In Group B of the U15 National Championship – Acecook Cup 2025, the match between Dong Thap and The Cong Viettel I attracted considerable attention from fans. Considered far superior to their opponent, The Cong Viettel I confidently played an attacking game. However, the military team faced considerable difficulties against the well-organized defense of their opponents. Failing to score, The Cong Viettel I paid a heavy price.

In the 41st minute, Dong Thap unexpectedly took the lead when Duc Phong of The Cong Viettel I scored an own goal. In the second minute of added time in the first half, Bui Tran Hieu Thien increased the score to 2-0 with a precise shot. In the second half, Tri Dung scored the third goal in the 63rd minute to seal a 3-0 victory for the team from the Mekong Delta.

Meanwhile, Kon Tum secured a resounding 4-1 victory against Dong Nai, PVF defeated Tay Ninh 3-2, andSHB Da Nang lost 0-6 to Hanoi, resulting in an early exit from the tournament.
