Athlete Vo Van Hien participates in the Asian Karate Championship.

(CT) - Vo Van Hien is the only athlete from Can Tho Karate to participate in the 2026 Asian Karate Championship, held in Indonesia from June 15 to 22. In this competition, Vo Van Hien will compete in the men's 75kg sparring category.

Vo Van Hien was born in 2001 in Can Tho City. In 2013, Hien was selected for the city's Karate talent team. In 2016, he was called up to the national youth team, and in 2020 he officially joined the national team, a position he holds to this day. Vo Van Hien has been awarded the title of National Master and is currently training at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center ( Hanoi ).
