As planned, the friendly match between the Vietnamese and Chinese teams will take place at 6:35 p.m. (Vietnam time) on October 10 at the Dalian Sports Center Stadium (China).
The Vietnamese team easily defeated China in the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup.
This is a stadium with a capacity of up to 61,000 seats, which was prepared to serve the campaign to win the right to host the FIFA Club World Cup 2021.
The Chinese Football Association also announced ticket prices for the match between the home team and Vietnam, including 4 levels: 180 yuan, 280 yuan, 380 yuan, 480 yuan.
The highest price is 480 yuan, equivalent to about 1.6 million VND (higher than the 2022 AFF Cup final ticket, which is only about 1 million VND).
Currently on the FIFA rankings, the Chinese team is still 15 places higher than the Vietnamese team (China is ranked 80, Vietnam is ranked 95).
In the past, the two teams met 8 times, China won 7 and lost 1.
But it is important to know that in the most recent match in the second leg of the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup at My Dinh Stadium, Quang Hai and his teammates easily won 3-1 against China.
Since then, Chinese football has continued to decline as many players, even their head coach, have been arrested for bribery and match-fixing.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese team has also changed when coach Troussier took over from Mr. Park Hang-seo.

This October, besides the match with China, the Vietnamese team will have two more matches with Uzbekistan and South Korea.
