Mr. Dang Huu Tri, head of the math group at Nguyen Du Secondary School (District 1), commented that questions 1 and 2 are basic and familiar math problems for students. If they review carefully, they will get full marks in this part.
From question 3 to question 7 are practical math problems, with questions similar to the knowledge reviewed at school. For question 7, you must read and reason carefully because this is a question that can easily lose points. If you do this practical math problem carefully, you will get 3.5 points out of 4.5 points.
Question 8, plane geometry is a familiar form for students when reviewing. Only question 8C requires reasoning and this is the question that classifies students. Overall, the exam is somewhat familiar but also clearly differentiates students, according to Mr. Tri.

In which, most of the math problems are familiar, Mr. Du said: "Questions 1,2,3,4,5,6 are very familiar. Question 3 is a math problem that often appears in semester tests and almost every teacher reviews it for students. Question 7 is of a classification nature".
This year's question 8 has a new question in the image section, question C, point 2 is to prove that 3 points are collinear. This is a difficult question with a high classification nature.
The test showed a good differentiation of students, in line with the goal of an entrance exam. According to Mr. Du, with this test, candidates can achieve 6 points, but 8 points or more is not easy.
