The owner of Co Chau Fresh Sausage Production Facility - Luu Thi Kim Chau and her team of skilled workers are busy producing batches of delicious, rich sausages to serve the Tet market.
For over 40 years, Co Chau fresh sausage has become a famous specialty of Can Duoc land. In 2021, Co Chau fresh sausage was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting 3-star OCOP standards. This brand was built from a combination of family secrets and dedication to the profession.
Ms. Kim Chau shared: “Every step from choosing ingredients, marinating spices to drying sausages must be meticulous. The meat used to make sausages must be fresh, the spices must be rich and especially no preservatives must be used.”
Ms. Kim Chau added: “To prepare for the Tet market, the facility has increased production to 600-800kg of sausage per day, 6-7 times more than usual (on average, the facility supplies the market with 1-2 tons of products per month). The facility's "famous" products such as traditional fresh sausage, salted egg sausage, shrimp sausage or Taiwanese sausage are all favored by customers, not only because of their unique flavor but also because of their safety and strictly controlled quality. The unique flavor of Co Chau fresh sausage is the traditional wine marinade recipe that helps preserve the delicious flavor and create natural adhesion. To suit the taste of today's consumers, the product has reduced fat and spices."
Not only a traditional dish, Co Chau fresh sausage is also chosen as a gift with a strong hometown flavor during the traditional Tet holiday, contributing to making the family reunion atmosphere more complete.
Hai Nhon Sen Agricultural Service Cooperative (Tan Thanh district) with OCOP products such as lotus powder and lotus heart tea is also in season to serve the increasing demand of the Tet market.
Established in August 2022, the cooperative has built its reputation thanks to its clean processing process, using no additives, ensuring the natural value of lotus is preserved. In particular, the two main products, lotus powder and lotus heart tea, are not only OCOP certified but also become the preferred choice of many families.

With 3 main product lines from lotus: lotus heart tea, lotus powder and lotus seeds, the processing chain completely uses clean ingredients, ensuring to preserve the nutritional value and pure flavor, satisfying customers”.
Not stopping at 2 OCOP products, the Cooperative also provides diverse items such as lotus seed jam, dried lotus seeds, lotus seed tea and fresh lotus shoots. These are not only nutritious dishes but also meaningful Tet gifts, imbued with the traditional Tet flavor.
