[Video] Long Bien Bridge ready for traffic on May 27th

After nearly two months of temporary closure for repairs, the Long Bien Bridge in Hanoi is now about 90% complete and is expected to reopen to traffic on May 27th.

The emergency repair project, launched on March 28th, aims to address deteriorated sections, replace the road surface on both sides, and renovate various elements of the bridge. Observations on May 21st and 22nd show that many items have been completed 100%, including pouring concrete for the bridge deck, constructing drainage ditches, and repainting the railings and bridge structure.
