[Video] The 1st Government Party Congress held a preparatory session

On the morning of October 12, in Hanoi, the first Government Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session, chaired by Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Attending the first Government Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term were 453 official delegates, representing over 209,000 party members from 2,211 grassroots party organizations in the entire Government Party Committee; along with about 120 invited delegates.

With the motto: "Solidarity, Discipline - Democracy, Innovation - Breakthrough Development - Close to the People", the Congress will summarize and evaluate the results of the 2020-2025 term, review the leadership and direction of the Government Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term; determine the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the Central Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

At the preparatory session on the morning of October 12, the Congress elected the Presidium, Secretariat, and Delegate Qualifications Review Board; approved the Congress's Working Program and Working Regulations; announced the assignment of discussion groups, and provided guidance for discussions at the Congress and in the groups.
