[Video] Hanoi: Tightening inspection of school meals

Hanoi has just requested increased surprise inspections of food and meal suppliers serving boarding school meals to ensure absolute safety for students.

Any violation will be strictly handled, including temporary suspension of supply, replacement of another unit, and consideration of the responsibility of the principal and local authorities if violations occur.

Currently, Hanoi has nearly 2,200 public schools that organize boarding meals in three forms: self-cooking, joint cooking, or providing ready-made meals.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee also issued a directive, assigning the Director of the Department of Education and Training and the Chairman of the People's Committee of wards and communes to take full responsibility before the city if violations occur, and affirmed that heads of units that are negligent in management will be strictly handled.
