This event marks the first time an international-scale match play golf tournament has been held in Vietnam, affirming the increasingly prominent position of Vietnamese golf on the Asia-Pacific regional map.
The tournament brings together teams from 9 countries and territories: Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, China, the United States, Canada, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia.
Teams will compete in a matchplay format inspired by the legendary Ryder Cup, including Fourball, Foursome, and Single Match formats, promising excitement and emphasizing teamwork and strategy. All participating athletes are high-level amateur golfers (single handicap).
