Among them, three "Lao expatriate" stars – Victor Ngovinassack, Roman Angot, and Theo Klein – are all playing abroad and possess a fairly good level of skill.

The Vietnamese national team is aiming for three points. To achieve this, they must play with determination, focus, and at their highest level. Winning is a must for the Vietnamese team in their upcoming journey in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, as they will then face a very strong Malaysian team with a quality squad of naturalized stars in June.
