Speaking at the ceremony, Moroccan Ambassador to Vietnam Jamale Chouaibi said that under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, Morocco has achieved many important achievements in modernizing the country, diversifying the economy, reducing poverty, developing renewable energy and enhancing regional connectivity. These results are a testament to the bold reform vision and long-term development strategy that Morocco has persistently pursued, aiming at the goal of peace , stability and prosperity.

Ambassador Jamale Chouaibi emphasized that the relationship between the two countries is built on the foundation of mutual respect, a history of good cooperation and common principles. He cited recent high-level visits, such as the visit to Vietnam by President of the Moroccan House of Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami in January 2025 and the visit to Morocco by Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, as clear evidence of the political determination of both sides to promote the bilateral partnership.
Ambassador Jamale Chouaibi expressed his hope that bilateral cooperation will continue to develop strongly, based on the common determination to build a prosperous and sustainable future.
Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Hang said that Vietnam congratulated Morocco on its positive steps in implementing its “Vision 2030”, especially in the fields of industrialization, energy transition and sustainable development. Vietnam believes that Morocco will continue to affirm its role and position in the region and the international arena.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang emphasized that 2025 is an important milestone towards the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. On the basis of traditional friendship, Vietnam and Morocco have maintained a regular dialogue mechanism, exchanged delegations at all levels and promoted cooperation in many fields, from politics, economics, trade to education - training and people-to-people exchange.
Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang sincerely thanked the Moroccan Government for providing many scholarships for Vietnamese students, considering this a vivid symbol of educational cooperation between the two countries. At the same time, she expressed her belief that the young generation will be a solid bridge contributing to the deep and sustainable development of Vietnam - Morocco relations in the future.
