Quality of Life Ranking

For the Quality of Life sub-category, Vietnam is highly rated for being affordable, having a good labor market, being family-friendly, safe and politically stable.

The Quality of Life ranking is based on an average score of nine attributes related to a country's quality of life: affordability, good job market, stable economy , family-friendly, income equality, political stability, safety, well-developed public education system, and public health system.

“In addition to the essentials of access to food, housing, quality education, health care and employment, quality of life can also include intangibles such as job security, political stability, personal freedom and environmental quality. These countries are considered to treat their citizens well at all stages of life,” the ranking said.
