Ani Dasgupta, President and CEO of the World Resources Institute: Government support is crucial.
I am deeply honored to be present at the P4G Summit hosted by Vietnam, and from the bottom of my heart, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Vietnamese Government for organizing this meaningful event. This year's summit brought together a large number of delegates representing countries, international organizations, and businesses from all over the world to exchange experiences and discuss solutions to further promote the green transition process. This is a matter of vital importance for our future generations.

Each country faces unique challenges on its journey towards green transition and building a low-carbon economy . These challenges may involve issues of capital, technology, policy, infrastructure, or human resources. That is why the P4G Summit 2025, hosted by Vietnam, is of great importance at this time. It is an opportunity for leaders from various countries and businesses to come together and find solutions to overcome the obstacles they face.
The green transition is progressing strongly in Vietnam and many countries around the world. This is a positive sign for the common fight against climate change. Vietnam is a clear example of how the government has actively supported people and businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, in participating in the green transition process through solutions such as simplifying administrative procedures and reducing initial investment costs. These efforts by Vietnam aim to realize the goal of transitioning to the use of cleaner energy .
Powerful messages from P4G 2025
Robyn McGukin, CEO of P4G: Inspiring the aspiration for green entrepreneurship.
P4G is a forum focused on supporting early-stage startups, especially in developing countries, in terms of technology and finance, while also promoting public-private partnerships to help businesses overcome challenges.
P4G contributes to finding solutions to reduce emissions, mitigate the impacts of climate change, and support projects in energy, water, and agriculture. Vietnam is a founding member and partner of P4G since the forum's inception.
Since then, we have supported numerous startups in Vietnam focusing on sectors such as energy, water, and waste management. We also focus on supporting innovative technology solutions, particularly climate-smart solutions.

One startup in Vietnam being supported by P4G is EBOOST, which is focusing on building a smart electric vehicle charging station system integrated with modern management technology. This company focuses on Vietnam's green growth goals. We are also collaborating with the city of Hanoi on accelerating the transition of buses to green energy by 2030.
I believe that Vietnam has many advantages for developing science and technology to serve climate goals. We fully support Vietnam's green transition solutions, as well as those of other partner countries, especially solutions for the development of the Mekong Delta region, a crucial element for Vietnam's prosperity.
Finn Mortensen, Executive Director of the State of Green organization in Denmark: Denmark is ready to support Vietnam.
Currently, Denmark is striving to maintain its leading role in the green transition and sustainable growth, with the goal of achieving net emissions of zero by 2045.
We value the role and participation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in promoting green growth. Therefore, Denmark has established six business development centers in its major cities. These centers are tasked with supporting businesses, especially SMEs and startups, by providing free professional advice tailored to each stage of a company's development.

I can sense a very strong spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in Vietnam. With its experience, Denmark is ready to support Vietnam by connecting small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as startups, between the two countries.
Denmark also wants to share and discuss with its Vietnamese partners the experiences it has accumulated in the green transition process and promoting sustainable development.
Dr. Malle Fofana, Asia Regional Director, Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI): The development of science and technology is inevitable.
The world is at a critical juncture to step up action in the fight against climate change. This reality demands that countries accelerate research and development of scientific and technological solutions to support the green transition.
However, currently 75% of the technological solutions for the green transition worldwide are only in their initial stages. Furthermore, these solutions are mainly focused on easily manageable areas and low-emission industries. Looking at high-emission sectors like heavy industry, there is a huge gap between the need for emission reduction and the actual investment.
For example, heavy industries release a huge amount of waste into the environment. However, current cleaning technologies can only handle 11% of this waste and are only concentrated in areas that are easy to treat.

In this context, the international community should consider investing in the development of science and technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), to serve the green transition process as an investment in future generations. To achieve this, the roles of governments, businesses, investment funds, international organizations, and public-private partners are crucial in ensuring that startups receive the necessary support.
GGGI and Vietnam have many opportunities to cooperate in developing science and technology to serve green growth in Vietnam. These include research and implementation of solutions to improve energy efficiency, especially in heavy industry, transportation, and construction; supporting startups in green transformation; and attracting investment capital into green transformation.
