Trusted by the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the U.19 Southeast Asian Women's Championship is not only a professional playground, but also a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification. This is also the first time a local football federation (Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation - HFF) has hosted a regional tournament for women, marking an important step forward in the development of women's football in Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.

The 2025 Southeast Asian U.19 Women's Championship will take place from June 9 to 18 at four stadiums in Ho Chi Minh City: Thong Nhat, District 8 Stadium, Dat Duc Stadium (Go Vap), and HFF Football Stadium. The tournament will feature eight teams: Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, and Timor Leste. The eight teams will be divided into two groups, playing a round-robin to calculate points and rank. The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals.
