VietinBank iConnect DX is an initiative implemented by VietinBank to optimize the VietinBank iConnect open banking platform with a diverse portfolio of digitized products and a flexible implementation team.

The number of customers using the service and making transactions has grown dramatically since the initiative was launched. To date, over 300 APIs have been deployed with the participation of more than 400 partners, serving nearly 20 million customers with a diverse range of newly launched products and services.

VietinBank iConnect DX has helped businesses reduce costs, significantly save deployment time, and contribute to overall business growth.

The VietinBank iConnect DX initiative has simplified system connectivity for school and hospital customer groups with the introduction of new products and services such as identified accounts, smartPOS, smartKiosk…; supported the development of comprehensive cash flow management solutions for merchant groups; and developed next-generation ERP connectivity solutions for large enterprises and FDI businesses. As a result, VietinBank iConnect DX has helped businesses reduce costs, significantly save implementation time, and contribute to overall business growth.

Thanks to these breakthroughs, The Asian Banker awarded VietinBank iConnect DX the award for the most innovative API and open banking initiative in Vietnam in 2025. This is recognition of the bank's continuous efforts to improve and develop its API and open banking platform to provide increasingly diverse and modern solutions, products, and services, as well as optimize customer experience.

VietinBank is currently one of the pioneering banks in deploying an open banking platform with an "open" mindset in cooperating with technology and Fintech partners.
