The Viettel Digital Talent 2024 program recruits interns in 9 technology fields, and it is expected that nearly 100 qualified students will be recruited to work at the group.
9 technology fields include: Data Science & AI, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Engineering, Software Engineering, recruiting 2 new majors in the high-tech industry including Semiconductor and Aerospace.
"These are key areas that play an important role in the 4.0 technology revolution, opening the door for young people to explore and develop their potential," said a Viettel representative.
The internship program continues to expand its training area in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, accepting candidates who are currently training domestically and internationally. In the first three-month training period, students can participate remotely (online), and if they complete well, they will have practical opportunities at 10 agencies and units in many fields of Viettel in the next phase.

Entering the fourth season of the internship program, Viettel expects agencies and units in the group to continue to give more difficult, more attractive, and more complex problems for young people to affirm their abilities and qualifications, hone their skills, stimulate creativity, and hone their character, thereby becoming more confident and maturing faster.
The Group is determined to maintain and develop the Digital Talent program because of the desire to further connect what businesses can do, between the practices and development strategies of businesses with educational and training institutions so that the young generation of the country not only sees technology in books but also does it for real, applies technology to systems, networks, equipment, products, and services to create benefits for the organization, for customers and society.

Originating in 2021, Viettel Digital Talent is an annual internship program, contributing to improving the quality of human resources for the information technology industry and promoting national digital transformation.
In 2023, the group sent interns to key projects of the unit, thereby recording 94 initiatives and ideas. The "seeds" went through two training phases, with 651 hours of intensive study with 122 leading experts in cloud computing, machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, malware and exploits, application system security... from three different continents. Interns were directly involved in the group's key projects such as deploying Private Cloud infrastructure, Vietnamese speech recognition model or Customer Centric AI system...
At the end of season three, Viettel has officially hired 71 students. This number is 1.7 times higher than in 2022.
