
Vingroup Corporation said that in the face of serious floods causing great damage in the Central provinces, the Corporation has sent an urgent dispatch to the Government leaders and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front proposing to continue providing additional emergency support of VND500 billion for disaster relief and recovery work.
It is expected that the new 500 billion package will be allocated to support people affected by damages in Dak Lak with 200 billion VND, Khanh Hoa with 100 billion VND, Gia Lai with 100 billion VND and Lam Dong with 100 billion VND.
The 500 billion VND package of the second phase will continue to focus on groups of people who suffer the most direct and serious damage.
The specific support levels are as follows:
Families with deceased or missing people: support amount is 100 million VND/deceased or missing person;
Families whose houses were completely collapsed: support amount is 60 million VND/household ;
Families with houses damaged by 50% or more, including people with revolutionary contributions; poor/near-poor households; families with especially difficult circumstances (including: no income, single parents raising young children, lonely elderly people, families with seriously ill members, orphans under 16 years old, families with members infected with Agent Orange, families with disabled members): the support amount is 20 million VND/household .
Nearly 2 months ago, on October 1, 2025, during the Bualoi storm (storm No. 10), Vingroup Corporation, through Thien Tam Fund, urgently coordinated with localities to deploy support of 500 billion VND. After nearly 2 months, more than 350/500 billion VND was disbursed directly to people in 25 provinces and cities, prioritizing households in the emergency group.
The largest support level belongs to some localities heavily affected, including: Ha Tinh (136.7 billion VND), Nghe An (61.6 billion VND), Ninh Binh (19.39 billion VND), Thai Nguyen (21.28 billion VND), Gia Lai (15.5 billion VND), Dak Lak (13.74 billion VND), Thanh Hoa (13.52 billion VND), Da Nang (9.92 billion VND), Cao Bang (9.67 billion VND), Thua Thien Hue (6.93 billion VND)...
The remaining 150 billion VND will continue to be disbursed to the provinces in the process of building and reconstructing essential civil works whose documents are being urgently completed by the provincial authorities. The provinces expected to be reconstructed include: Ha Tinh (30 billion VND), Nghe An (17 billion VND), Lao Cai (15 billion VND), Tuyen Quang (37 billion VND), Thai Nguyen (15 billion VND), Cao Bang (5.5 billion VND), Phu Tho (6 billion VND), Lai Chau (5 billion VND), Son La (15 billion VND), Quang Tri (4.5 billion VND).
By consecutively deploying two large-scale relief packages in a short period of time, Vingroup said that each timely support has practical value, contributing to helping people overcome the most difficult period after natural disasters.
