Honoring Party members with 60 years of Party membership.
On the afternoon of May 5th, the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee solemnly held a ceremony to present the 60-year Party membership badge to senior Party members in U Minh commune. Attending the ceremony was Comrade Phan Thanh Duy, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Department of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.

In a warm atmosphere, provincial leaders presented the 60-Year Party Membership Badge to Comrade Do Van Choi (91 years old), a Party member of the Party Branch in Hamlet 16. This is a prestigious award from the Party, recognizing the dedication, training, and persistent contributions of this Party member throughout his long journey in the revolutionary cause. Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department Phan Thanh Duy presented the 60-year Party membership badge to Comrade Do Van Choi.
Born into a family with a revolutionary tradition, Comrade Do Van Choi joined the resistance early on, holding various positions in the former U Minh district. For his immense contributions, he was awarded the First Class Resistance Medal by the President of Vietnam – a recognition of a lifetime of dedication to the Fatherland and the People.
Comrade Phan Thanh Duy, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Department of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Phan Thanh Duy expressed his deep appreciation and recognition for Comrade Do Van Choi's contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. He also hoped that the family would continue to uphold the tradition and contribute to the development of their homeland.
Mr. Do Van So (son of Comrade Do Van Choi), on behalf of the family, expressed his pride and emotion at the attention shown by the Party and the State.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Do Van So emotionally shared his pride in his father receiving the prestigious Party Badge; he also expressed his gratitude to the Party, the State, and all levels of leadership for their continued attention to and recognition of the contributions of previous generations.
The ceremony was not only an occasion to honor an exemplary party member, but also a reminder to today's generation of the value of steadfastness, dedication, and unwavering loyalty to the Party – qualities that have made the Vietnamese revolution so enduringly strong.
